Service & Community Involvement

I served as a Professor's Assistant, where I support undergraduate instruction by helping students understand challenging technical concepts, debugging code, and reinforcing course material outside of lecture.

This role allows me to directly contribute to my academic community by mentoring students, answering questions during labs or office hours, and helping create an environment where students feel comfortable asking for help.

Through this experience, I have learned how to communicate complex ideas clearly, adapt explanations to different learning styles, and guide students toward independent problem solving rather than simply providing answers.

Supporting students as a Professor's Assistant has reinforced my belief that education is one of the most meaningful ways to give back. Helping classmates overcome difficult topics in programming, embedded systems, or computer architecture has a direct and lasting impact on their success.

I view teaching not only as the transfer of knowledge, but as a form of service that empowers others to build skills, and pursue opportunities.

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a doctoral degree with the long term goal of returning to academia as a professor. I want to continue serving students through teaching, research mentorship, and curriculum development.

My experience as a Professor's Assistant has shown me the importance of hands-on learning, and strong mentorship in technical fields. I hope to contribute to future generations by fostering curiosity, inclusivity, and engineering skills.
